The event is scheduled to take place at Camp Kigali, specifically at the Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village, starting at 6:00 p.m. This event will feature a performance by Josh Ishimwe, well-known for his songs centered on Christian themes, particularly those associated with the Catholic Church.
This show marks a significant return after a three-year hiatus caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic that emerged in 2020, claiming numerous lives. The last extensive show of this nature was held in 2019.
While preparing for their concert this year, the choir received a visit from the media. They have been diligently rehearsing for several days in the vicinity of the Saint Famille Church.
Bizimana Jérémie, responsible for the technical and ethical aspects of the event, explained that the show is aptly titled "I Bweranganzo," which translates to "the grass is ripe and fertile, open for all to witness." He elaborated, "By naming it 'I Bweranganzo,' we aim to encapsulate the essence we intend to convey through the show."
Bizimana expressed confidence in their readiness, stating that they are currently 97% prepared, with the remaining 3% to be addressed prior to the event. "The young, vibrant singers are enthusiastic and committed to delivering an exceptional and delightful performance," he affirmed.
