The artist Ndayishimiye Christophe, born in Burundi and residing in Rwanda, held his first concert, a significant milestone in his journey as a worship singer. He showcased a medley of songs, including those he collaborated on with artists like Bosco Nshuti, Prosper Nkomezi, and Irimbere Christian.
After days of preparation, Christophe Ndayishimiye organized a remarkable concert just before the end of the month, marking it as his debut performance in celebrating and worshiping God through music.
The event took place at New Life Bible Church in Kicukiro this Sunday, where he was joined by fellow musicians Bosco Nshuti, Jean Christian Irimbere, and Prosper Nkomezi, all contributing to his debut album.
Ndayishimiye Christophe performed in two sessions, presenting a variety of songs, including "Ijambo ryawe" and "Uwambambiwe ni uwo kwizerwa." He also sang "I Praise you Lord" in English, a collaboration with Christian Irimbere.
Following his worship and commitment to spreading the word of God, Christophe Ndayishimiye, in his second session, sang four songs, including "Ndashima isezerano," "Uri uwera," a collaboration with Nkomezi Prosper, "Yesu niryo zina," with Bosco Nshuti, and "Ulimwengu wote" in Swahili.
In this concert, Christophe Ndayishimiye was praised and empowered to continue God's work, as many attendees offered their support, some even contributing financially, totaling over a million.
He expressed gratitude to all Christians in Rwanda and beyond, emphasizing the importance of worshiping and glorifying God tirelessly and promising to undertake any possible endeavor in the name of God.
He thanked his siblings, wife, and supportive friends, mentioning that despite having no funds initially to organize the concert, his faith in God's word prevailed, and everything turned out well.
