James and Daniella Announce U.S. Concert Tour to Expand Gospel Outreach

The duo of Rugarama James and Mukiza Daniella, known for their gospel music, has announced plans to hold major concerts in the United States as part of their mission to expand their outreach and connect with their fans.

This is not their first time performing in the U.S.; they have previously been invited to uplift the spirits of thousands through their music. They have been in the country for some time, leading some to speculate that they are settling there to further their musical careers. In an exclusive interview with InyaRwanda, James clarified that they are not relocating to the U.S. as some have suggested, but are focused on their music activities. He stated, "Living in America is not what it seems."

Together with his wife, Daniella, they are preparing for a concert in Seattle, Washington, scheduled for November 24, 2024. Admission to the concert is free and will take place at Belpres New Hope Revival. James noted that in addition to this event, they have other concerts planned to engage with their fans and worship God together.

He explained, "These concerts we are going to perform in America are aimed at deep worship through the songs that God has placed on our hearts." James added that the concerts will also provide an opportunity to meet with their supporters and fellow believers in Christ.

In July 2023, the duo held successful concerts in Europe and performed in other countries, including Burundi. The pair has been making gospel music for four years, producing songs that have touched many hearts through various albums, including "Ibyiringiro."

James previously told InyaRwanda that their four years in music have been filled with valuable lessons. He said, "These years have been filled with many lessons, so much so that we could ask someone to take a pen or a piece of paper and write down many things. God has taught us many things and shown us many people..."

He continued, "The challenges we face come from people. As the saying goes, people are the most difficult creatures on Earth. Understanding people, knowing their hearts, connecting with them, and trying to bear good fruit while dealing with both good and bad people is very challenging, but we believe this applies to all Christians and to everyone in general."

James emphasized that despite these challenges, they remain steadfast in their ministry. To ensure everything goes smoothly, he and his wife regularly set aside time for prayer, seeking God's guidance for things they cannot accomplish on their own.

He mentioned that he and Daniella are also weak individuals, but they "have hope in Christ." He stated, "We pray every day, both at night and in the morning, whether we are in the car or different places. My wife and I pray together, encourage each other, and teach one another. There is no other way to overcome this world than to work together and lean on Christ Jesus..." James noted that over the past three years, they have found supporters who have invited them to various events.

James and Daniella started dating between 2008 and 2009. They both went to study in Uganda in 2012, where James focused on international relations and Daniella studied accounting. In 2015, they committed to each other as a married couple and have been making music together ever since, gaining recognition for their diverse songs.
