The 'KUNA DAWA' hitmaker Esther Wahome, is one of the most celebrated gospel singers, with an illustrious singing career spanning over two decades. She has toured the world and entertained presidents among other dignified personalities.

In 2004, Esther Wahome's music was played on almost every TV station and radio available at the time. Her song, Kuna Dawa, had become a hit that was on almost everyone's lips, making her a shining star.

So loved was the hit song that she won Best Female Artist and Song of The Year at the Groove Awards. In 2013 and 2014, she went on to release her singles Furahia and Daktari before she released a number of songs in Kikuyu.  However, she took a break from her musical career to take care of her family and specifically, her son. The renowned musician made a comeback when she released hits such as Yahweh, Shekinah Glory, Minyororo, and Asali.

The vocally endowed songstress stands out as a household name since she started singing. Having been inspired by her dad William Wahome, who was her greatest mentor and cheerleader.He was also a preacher and a musician and that made it easy for her to learn music. She started music as a hobby before she became a full-time musician. 

The 47-year-old and scandal-free singer has been participating in church service, specifically preaching to different congregants. She has been able to do Collabos with artists such as Guardian Angel and Nik Bonfils.
