If there is one of the strongest women Kenya has ever produced, then gospel singer Kambua is one of them. The losses broke her but she managed to stay strong and try to live each day at a time. Well, the TV host recently shared with the world how she managed to pull through by revealing the things that she has been doing that keep her sane.
According to Kambua, reading books and traveling have been playing the perfect therapy even as she tries to heal. In a social media post, Kambua noted that she may be healing but the scars of losing her dad and second-born child are still with her.
''I read books and travel to heal. I have healed from things I thought would break me forever. I healed from losing my dad (I didn't think was near possible). I am healing from losing my son. It is possible to heal. The scars may remain, but God takes away the sting. " Kambua said.
She added that she listens to a lot of stuff and exhale, without forgetting prayers, as a way to remain calm.
''I am curious to know...what do you do to heal...? To exhale...? I read books, listen to "stuff", I pray, I TRAVEL...I travel to heal and regroup. Recently, the travel bug bit me...,'' Kambua added.
He was only days old when he breathed his last. The heartbreaking news was shared by Kambua in an emotional message on her Instagram page.
"You were deeply loved, and will forever be remembered. Your father, your mommy, and your brother Nathaniel will carry you in our hearts always," she wrote.
The gospel songbird was appreciative of the fact that she had the privilege to carry a life yet again despite the baby not staying alive for long after being born. She eulogized the young one as a perfect baby who made a grand entrance into the world and was perfect in every way.
